Security Audit & Assurance Manager

Location: Location Independent with regular travel to South of England required

What will you be doing? 

In this role your will be responsible for the coordination, management and execution of customer facing information security audits for Vodafone UK business customers. The role enables independent assessment of Vodafone’s specific security controls, customer security requirements and applicable standards and frameworks encompassing information security and other relevant Vodafone and regulatory controls.

 

  • Act as the SME and Single point of contact (SPOC) for audits required by customers to ensure professional and successful audit delivery. 
  • Review the impact of security requirements in non-standard projects and ensure security Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and delivery impacts have been identified and correctly reported in a timely manner.
  • Ensure security requirements have been appropriately met or advise the risk or steps necessary to assess (e.g. customer security requirements, security clearance, sovereignty, supplier flow down)
  • Ensure requirements for security resource (e.g. audit, Customer Account Security Manager) have been identified and ownership agreed.
  • Determine and maintain accurate and relevant self-service security information for use across Vodafone, be it internal or via third-parties platform(s).

 

 

Who are we looking for?  

  • Experience in internal/external audits
  • Experience of security policies and standards – including those related to regulatory programmes (e.g. ISO2700x, GDPR, NIST, COBIT, etc.); including a broad understanding of technical information and cyber security infrastructures and implementation.
  • Able to effectively communicate and translate security controls into terms appropriate for the audience
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to influence senior management.
  • Ability to produce management level reports aimed at C – Level, Senior Management, Internal and Customers alike.
