We are looking for Infrastructure Engineers to support and enhance a large-scale server estate, primarily hosted on a mix of VMware and physical hardware to optimise performance for high-demand compute clusters. The role will focus on infrastructure management, deployment of new environments, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, patching, and automation of core infrastructure tasks.

Core Technologies & Tools

• Windows Server administration and support
• Microsoft System Center Suite (SCOM, SCCM, SCSM) for monitoring, deployment, and service management
• SQL Server maintenance and optimisation
• Exposure to Red Hat Linux (optional but beneficial)
• Red Hat Satellite (if working with Linux-based systems)
• VMware infrastructure experience
• GitLab for version control and CI/CD automation
